Spectrophotometry uses
spectrophotometers, or devices for the measurement of light intensity, which can determine the intensity as a function of the wavelength of the light radiation.
There are spectrophotometers with various ways in which to acquire a spectrum, and the variable light intensity sources for which they were designed.
CUVETTE
A useful cell interval to contain the sample to be analysed.
The sample to be analysed is placed in a cuvette which must be transparent to the wavelength on which it works.
